The client hereto agrees as follows:
1) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding and its employees agree to provide dog boarding services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these pet boarding services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Happy Dog Ranch Boarding or its employees, unless arising from negligence on the part of Happy Dog Ranch Boarding.
2) The client understands that all pets must have a veterinarian and must be current with all vaccinations. Vaccinations must be given far enough in advance to be effective. Happy Dog Ranch Boarding requires about 2 weeks. Please bring vaccination records with you before or during admission of dog boarding.
3) The client understands that all pets must be treated with a flea, tick and heart worm preventative.
4) Pets over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
5) The client understands that Happy Dog Ranch Boarding will not administer sedatives to the client’s pet -- regardless if they are veterinarian prescribed. If your pet needs this type of medication you need to make arrangements for your pet to be hospitalized with your veterinarian.
6) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding does not diagnose, make prognosis, or make therapy decisions nor does it offer veterinary services. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian.
7) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding will not sit for acutely ill animals or those with uncontrolled medical conditions. Happy Dog Ranch Boarding suggest pet boarding with a veterinarian. Certain medical conditions may also be referred to a veterinarian for pet boarding.
8) The client understands to inform Happy Dog Ranch Boarding of any known behavioral and/or aggression problems. Client is solely responsible for any harm caused by client’s pet to any employees, other pets/owners, or property at our dog boarding home.
9) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding does provide bowls and bedding; however, if you decide to provide your own, Happy Dog Ranch Boarding is not responsible for those items. Please label all items including medications with pet’s name.
10) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding does not accept aggressive animals at our dog boarding home.
11) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding will not walk unruly or dogs that choke themselves on their leash. All dogs must be accompanied by a leash. Collars will may be removed during the dog's stay for safety reasons.
12) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding reserves the right to take pet(s) to veterinarian if necessary. Client is responsible for all charges.
13) Happy Dog Ranch Boarding reserves the right to deny dog boarding service or terminate dog boarding service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.
14) The client agrees if pet is not picked up, or we are not notified, within 5 days after scheduled pick up date, Happy Dog Ranch Boarding will consider pet abandoned and pet will be dropped off at nearest shelter unless a new owner can be found.
15) Payment is expected before services are rendered. In the event of additional unforeseen costs (such as kibble, unexpected supplies, or veterinarian fees), payment is expected within 2 days of the completion of dog boarding services or a late charge of $20 will be applied per month.
16) Cancellations must be received 2 days prior to scheduled dog boarding day or a $25 cancellation fee will apply. Happy Dog Ranch Boarding must be notified within 2 days of an early return or you will be charged for the remaining number of booked days.
